FAQ’s

  • Welcome! I’m so excited to have you in my chair. To make the most of your first visit, here are a few things to know before you come in:

Come with fresh, clean hair. Please arrive with freshly washed hair (within 24 to 48 hours), and preferably styled how you normally wear it—whether that’s straight, curled, air-dried, or natural. This helps me see how your hair behaves day to day and better understand what styles, cuts, and colors will suit your lifestyle and preferences.

Come with questions, or non at all. This appointment is all about you, so feel free to bring any inspiration photos, hair history details, or questions you’ve been wanting to ask. Not sure what you want yet? That’s okay, too! We ’ll talk through options together and build a custom plan that works for your goals and your hair’s health.

    What to bring:

    • Inspiration pics (Pinterest or Instagram is perfect!)

    • A rough idea of your hair history (color, chemical services, etc.)

    • An open mind—we’ll get creative together, but always with honesty and care!

Running late or need to reschedule?

Life happens! Please let me know as soon as possible if you’re running behind or need to reschedule. A 48-hour notice is appreciated so I can adjust my schedule and accommodate others.

  • Yes, and I highly recommend one for any major color changes or first-time clients. It helps us align expectations and make sure we’re on the same page.

  • Yes! I welcome all hair textures and lengths. I am curly cut certified and love my curly girls!

  • It depends on your hair goals and style. For maintaining shape and health, I generally recommend trims every 6–12 weeks. We can build a custom schedule based on your hair type and growth.

  • It depends on the service. A root touch-up may take 1.5–2 hours, while a full vivid transformation or balayage can take 3–5 hours or more. Timing will be discussed during your consultation.

  • I offer Brazilian blowout and Brazilian blowout free which help reduce frizz, add shine, and make styling easier. These are not permanent and do dissipate from the hair.

  • Typically 12-16 weeks with proper care. Using sulfate-free shampoos and heat protectants will help extend results.

  • Yes! Smoothing treatments are safe for colored hair and can even help lock in your color and add extra shine.
